Demystifying the art of improvisation with our season three artist in residence Andy Nowak (pianist, composer, arranger, educator).
Running from January to June the monthly three-hour jazz class is suitable if you have a basic level of playing an instrument or singing and would like to unravel the secrets of jazz and improvisation. Learn to play some standards inside out so you can gain confidence in playing jazz. Learn about improv techniques that you can utilise in any musical idiom or setting and unite with other like-minded musicians in this special series. Who knows, maybe even a new Malmesbury band may emerge.
