Trio Paradis Café Concert: A Midsummer Night’s Dream

Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan - piano, Ruth O’Shea - violin & Linda Stocks - cello) play a Café Concert at Malmesbury Abbey on the first Tuesday afternoon of each month at 2pm: informal music events with refreshments available in the abbey café before and after the concert, where you can meet friends and make new ones, and enjoy live music, often with the addition of a poem or two…

The music for June’s concert is inspired by summer and dreams, and includes an arrangement of Dream Children by Elgar, the Allegro from ‘Jacob’s Dream’ Trio in Eb by Haydn, and music by Mendelssohn, Turina and Rachmaninov.

Concerts last c45m and entrance is by donation, with a retiring collection. An RSVP via our website is much appreciated but not essential.
